1.5 MW Solar System on Hopatcong Landfill in NJ is live !

On October 15, 2020, the sun was shining on Hopatcong, New Jersey, during the ribbon cutting ceremony of the Hopatcong Landfill Solar. The project was jointly developed and permitted by Citrine Power LLC and AC Power LLC after the developers signed a lease with the borough in 2018. New Jersey Resources Clean Energy Ventures acquired the project from the developers in 2019 and will be the long term owner and operator of the system. The Hopatcong solar project was approved for Transition Renewable Energy Credits (TRECs) by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities.
